BACUP BUSINESS ASSOCIATION TO HOLD VIRTUAL CORONAVIRUS ADVICE & SUPPORT MEETING TOMORROW
Many local businesses and trades people have been affected by the coronavirus. Since the Prime Minister declared a nationwide lock-down, most businesses in Bacup have had to close their doors.
Some businesses remain open and serving the public, these businesses are considered ‘essential services’ and are providing people with food, medication and groceries.
For smaller businesses or traders, they have had to close their doors on their business, following orders from the UK government. These orders have left a lot of business owners uncertain about the future of their businesses, their employees or for trades people, their day to day income.
This is a national crisis that is having an impact on just about everyone in the UK, it’s an unprecedented, national disaster that is bound to have economic repercussions that will last several years.
For many business owners in Bacup, this is a worrying time that is causing a large amount of distress and uncertainty.
Today, Bacup Business Association released a statement via their Twitter Profile, announcing that they will be holding a virtual meeting via Zoom.us tomorrow evening at 17.30. The aim of this meeting is to give local businesses advice, guidance, support and direction.
Anyone who is a business owner is free to attend or free to get involved with Bacup Business Association, the groups aim is: “to bring the local businesses of Bacup together to make Bacup a better place to live and work”.
They’re asking people to go to the website Zoom.us tomorrow and use the code 460-453-1481 to take part in the virtual meeting.
