BACUP BUSINESS ASSOCIATION – EMERGENCY CORONAVIRUS MEETING FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES

Bacup Business Association will be holding an advice and guidance meeting tomorrow afternoon for local businesses and trades people affected by the coronavirus crisis.

CORONAVIRUS RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE PREVENTING PEOPLE FROM LEAVING HOME UNLESS NECESSARY

Residents of the Bacup and Rossendale area have been asked to remain home and stay inside, unless leaving the house for essentials. This comes after the Prime Minister put the UK on enforced lock down.

NOWCARD PASS HOLDERS CAN NOW USE THEIR TRAVEL PASS TO TRAVEL BEFORE 9.30 AM IN THE MORNING

Lancashire Council have worked with transport providers across the county to ensure that vulnerable members of the public are able to use public transport without restriction.

ARE YOU ONE OF THE PEOPLE ON THE AT RISK LIST BEING ASKED TO SELF ISOLATE AT HOME FOR 12 WEEKS?

From today, G.P. surgeries around the country will be sending letters out to those considered most at risk from the Coronavirus, urging those people to stay at home and self-isolate for up to 12 weeks.

ROSSENDALE RADIO TO AIR REGULAR CORONAVIRUS SLOT FROM TOMORROW MORNING

Rossendale Radio have added a ‘coronavirus slot’ to their daily schedule. The first show will take place from Monday 23rd March 2020 at 10 a.m. people living in the borough are recommended to tune in and listen to get news and information on how this national crisis is affecting their local area.

On 20th March 2020, Rossendale Borough Council released their community bulletin, informing people of efforts being made borough wide, to deal with the coronavirus outbreak.
